Ed Birch, Sr. traveled to Ohio in the mid 1950's to film the last days of steam. Starting on the B&O in Grafton, WV, he visited several cities. He filmed trains of the B&O, Nickel Plate, New York Central and the Pennsy. The Pennsy's Sandusky branch featured leased Santa Fe 2-10-2's ferrying coal and ore from the docks. Nickel Plate Berkshires, NYC Niagaras and B&O EM-1's are seen. About 1 hour and 40 minutes, all color and narration.
