This program covers Norfolk Southern in North Carolina. It starts in Selma, where the former Atlantic Coast Line, now CSX, crosses the Southern Ry, nee original Norfolk Southern, at grade. We see an eastbound NS freight cross the diamonds and then work in the small yard. After a visit to Raleigh, action resumes on the former Southern Ry. main from DC to Atlanta, at the large yard in Linville, Salisbury, Kannapolis and Charlotte. Running time is about 2 hours, light narration and maps.
