Includes passenger and freight trains on the "Punkin Vine Line" (Roanoke to Winston Salem) from the camera of David Driscoll (from the N&W Historical Society collection). Floyd Fish captured some M Class action on the Blacksburg-Christiansburg local (known as the Huckleberry Train). We see a 611 fan trip through Williamson, West Virginia in 1959. And we'll see scenes from the Roanoke area in 1958 shot by Nick Kallas. See a big Class Y5 getting scrapped! Shot on silent 8mm film and that is how it comes to you, backed with music, as silent "film" now on DVD. 8mm color and B&W film, silent with music. No narration/sound.
