In 1992 time stood still in the scenic Nicolet National Forest located in northeastern Wisconsin. See the Nicolet Badger Northern Railroad in action with two rare vintage locomotives, a Baldwin RS12 and a EMD NW2 Switcher. The trains are carrying tourists and timber much like they did about 40 years earlier. Witness the beautiful fall colors as we shot from both the cab of the 207 and trackside with many fantastic runbys. The second half of the program features the scenic NBN winter logging trains. The NBN operates over 38 miles of track from Wabeno north to Tipler. This stretch of track was once part of the Laona Line of the Chicago & Northwestern Railroad. Shot from the camera of Bradley A.
