Climb aboard the cab of a New England Central GP-38 diesel engine for a "Head-End" ride through the picturesque New England countryside from Willimantic, CT to Palmer, MA. We begin at Willimantic and continue north on the former Central Vermont Railroad through South Coventry, Eagleville, Mansfield, West Wellington, Stafford, Orcutts, South Monson and Monson before arriving at Palmer. This program was taped during the peak of the fall foliage season in October, 1996. Narration is provided referring to locations, speed and other interesting facts.
