Climb aboard the cab of a New England Central GP-38 diesel engine for a "Head-End" ride through the picturesque New England countryside from Brattleboro, VT to Walpole, NH. We begin at Brattleboro and continue north on the former Central Vermont Railroad through Dummerston, Putney, East Putney and Bellows Falls before arriving at Walpole. This program was taped during the peak of the fall foliage season in October, 1996. Narration is provided referring to locations, speed and other interesting facts.
