Midwest Photo Freights: Your behind the scenes action of specialty train excursions! C. Vision Productions takes you on a journey of several photo freight events from 2008 to 2010. Travel with us as we see the Burlington Northern SD-9 on the Osceola and St. Croix Valley Railroad in Wisconsin and Minnesota. We also feature Minnesota Transportation Museum's Great Northern Hustle Muscle SD-45 as it pulls a passenger train, along with the original Duluth, South Shore and Atlantic Alco RS-1 number 101 on the North Shore Scenic Railway in Minnesota. An excursion to Iowa allows us to capture images from a Minneapolis and St. Louis painted Alco RS-1 on the Boone and Scenic Valley railroad.

Be prepared to go back in time as you see these awesome trains travel the rail lines, looking just the same as they did in their original days of service. Scenic locations, combined with striking locomotive paint schemes are sure to bring back memories of these fallen flag railroads in Midwest Photo Freights!

This was my first C Vision Production video purchased, so I was not sure what to expect. Minutes into Midwest Photo Freights, I knew it was a gem. The Bluray image quality and sound are simply outstanding. Featuring classic power from the past, (SD9, SD45, and Alco RS1's plus a surprise appearance of another classic), I felt like I took a time warp back to the 1960's. What really put this fine production over the top was a cab ride on a RS1. For those interesed in 1st and 2nd generation diesels operating in beautiful midwest scenery, this Bluray is for you. I will be buying more C Vision Production Blurays in the future.

Additional remarks by Pensfan:
Narration: Just enough.
Would kids enjoy this? Maybe.
Image quality: Excellent!
DVD Value: Excellent Value!
Recommend to others? A "Must Have"!

If you like watching vintage ALCo and EMD power rolling across your screen, you'll love 'Midwest Photo Freights'. The stars of the program are two ALCo RS-1's and Great Northern 400 'Hustle Muscle', the first production SD45 from EMD.

As the title suggests, these locomotives are hauling mostly freight equipment through beautiful Midwestern scenery, the video also allows you the option of viewing with or without narration, a real plus.

Overall, this is one of the best 'C. Vision Productions' videos I've seen thus far.
