This DVD is as good as the cover photo's makes it out to be, great KCS, NS, UP and others make this a fast paced non stop action DVD. Starting in Shreveport LA the DVD follows all the action to Meridian Miss.
+ Photography is top notch and will done, shot in the same format as other HighBall DVD's. Filmed mostly on full sunny days gives you a good look at all the action.
+ Narration is interesting, informative and keeps you informed of your locations the trains and everything else that you are seeing. Peter does a nice job of narrating the history of the line with out getting carried away on it.
Its all here lots of KCS Reto-Belle's mixed with plenty of gray units, through in all the NS and UP trains, locals, stack, coal and ethanol trains and you got and hour and 45 minutes of action packed modern railroading.

the Meridian Speedway is another great video for heavy fast trains crossing the USA. And like other producers of railroad videos, this one had to make a video of the region also. Really not a lot of new things in it except for maybe some power like the TFM paint scheme. I like the video.... yes. Recommend it... yes. But if you have a different producer's video, don't expect anything to exciting and different.
