This program is divided into three parts. Part one consists of approximately thirty minutes of vintage footage featuring steam and diesels of the B&O in both passenger and freight service. Also included are a few scenes of steam on the Western Maryland and diesels of the C&O. Part two contains the movie "Meeting the Challange" (circa 1946) which was produced by the B&O. This film describes the entire railroad operation and features many steam and diesel freight and passenger trains in action. Part three gives the viewer a look at the former B&O, now CSX as it looks today.
