Meet Me in St. Louis The 1990 NRHS Convention Heritage Series

In June of 1990, four mainline steam locomotives converged on St. Louis for the annual convention of the National Railway Historical Society. Featuring St. Louis & San Francisco 4-8-2 #1522, St. Lous Southwestern 4-8-4 #819, Norfolk & Western 2-6-6-4 #1218 and Union Pacific 4-8-4 #844, the convention offered a selection of big steam power that had not been seen before or since.

All four locomotives are seen in operation in this DVD. Of the four, only one is still in operation today. The Heritage Series features railroads as they were, from fallen flags to steam locomotives in excursion service that are no longer in operation today.
