C. Vision Productions explores the Kansas City Southern in the colorful early 1990s, with footage provided by videographer Dan Hadley. We'll follow the railroad's mainline from Kansas City, Missouri to the Gulf of Mexico, with additional coverage of the Meridian Speedway and Texas Subdivision. KCS EMDs wearing their white "ghost" paint scheme, as well as the newer gray paint scheme with yellow safety stripes, are seen operating on a variety of trains throughout the video. In addition to KCS, you'll see locomotives from Burlington Northern, Norfolk Southern, Southern Pacific, Union Pacific, Missouri Pacific, Illinois Central, TFM, Texas Mexican, MidSouth, Gateway Western, TO&E, and Kiamichi. Locomotive models seen include SD40, SD40A, SD40X, SD40-2, SD40M-2, SD45T-3, SD50, SD60, GP7, GP9, GP10, GP30, GP35, GP38, GP38AC, GP38-2, GP40, GP40-2, GP40-2L, GP49, GP60, B23-7, C30-7, C39-8, C40-9, C40-9W, FP9A, F9B, SW14, SW1500, and NW2. This was a period of significant growth for the KCS, as the company swiftly transformed into a well-connected class one powerhouse shortly before the turn of the century.
