Housatonic Railroad Ex-New Haven Berkshire Division DVD Click to enlargeNote: Cover image may differ from actual product The Housatonic Railroad was formed in the early 1800's, running from South Norwalk north to Canaan, CT. It evolved through the New Haven RR, Penn Central, Conrail and, briefly, the Boston and Maine, before reverting to its original name. It now operates from Danbury, CT, to Pittsfield, MA where it interchanges with CSX Transportation on the former Boston & Albany. It has also purchased the New Haven's former Maybrook Line between Derby, CT, and the NY state line. It has grown into a prosperous regional railroad and proudly serves its many customers. Robert Saul captured operations across the road's entire territory in 2004. Running time: 105 Minutes - Color - Maps - Narration |
