A 'Hotspot' can be best described as 'somewhere you should never turn your back to, as You never know what is next'. For railfans, it is a location where there are a lot of trains, preferably but not always from multiple companies. Blue Island fits the description to a "T". Highball has done a fantastic job showing the action here. With many different companies crossing each other's right-of-ways, bridge crossings, and even Metra crossing over top, there is a near non-stop parade of trains. With very little narration, we read screen graphics to give us the time of each train, and we hear the sounds just like we are there. You love trains and variety? You want to stay in one location?
