Hobo and Winnipesaukee Scenic Railroads

The Plymouth & Lincoln RR operates the Hobo and Winnipesaukee Scenic Railroads on state-owned former Boston and Maine Concord and Montreal tracks from Northfield-Tilton, NH, 55 miles north to Lincoln, NH. The line passes through the scenic New Hampshire Lake Region into the White Mountains. The Hobo runs from Lincoln south to West Thornton. Autumn foliage specials are a particular attraction. A Santa Train treats the kids at Christmas time, as well as a Polar Express (c) special. The Winnipesaukee Scenic operates from Meredith, NH, through the Weirs to Lakeport and return. It features meals on board, drama mystery trains and turkey dinner trains.
