There is no railroading experience like Tehachapi. And this video does an excellent job showing it. Lots of long trains, from intermodal to oil cans. It takes a lot of power to move the trains as seen with the SP and 8 units on the head end and assisting in helper mode. Highball covers the area very well over a 38 mile stretch with the tunnels and gorgeous scenery. I got this one right after it came out back in 1996 on cosset and im glad he released it on DVD, its a must have for anybody who enjoy's railroading right before the BNSF and UP/SP merger. Tehachapi in the mid 1990's what more can you say lots of SP speed lettering classic Santa Fe warbonnets and an interesting assortment of rolling stock and intermodial that's now gone. This was my very first American Railroad dvd purchase, and I still think its good particularly as it shows the Gas tanks roaring and crawling along at about 8/10 mph with loads of head end and mid train helper 40-2 power.
