Merle Levitt's multi-gauge, multi-level layout features the California Zephyr, State Set, Blue Comet, Rail Chief, SP F-3 Set, plus other favorites from the '80s and 90s. Merle also has a fine collection of toys and Buddy L trucks.

In part 1, there is a first visit to Lionels 1986-1993 catalog photographer Fritz Von tagen in Portland Oregon, which includes a collection of Hudsons, and a comparison from the Williams SP 4449 daylight with the real thing. Next there is the multi-gauge layout of Merle Levit which includes when the saints go marching in performed on the calliope, and the Old number 7 song. Finally there is some highlights from the Christmas week 1995 show on the Tom Snyder Late late show on CBS, which contains a trailer for TMs Lionel DVD box sets between the segments, and Phil Ambrose from A Lionel Christmas, I Love Cat Machines Parts 1 & 2, & I Love Christmas singing a special song.

In part 2, there is a visit to the huge Lionel layout of Christopher & Marlene Rohlfing, which includes a collection of transformers, and a gray table top. Then its off to the train barn in Kalamazoo Michigan with Seth Giem. Finally there is an unusual story on Glenn Pintas layout throughout his years. Fact Alert: Glenn appeared on the CNBC Tom Snyder Show in 1993 during a live Telephone call, Which was also shown on TM's Toy Train Revue Volume 9.

Part 1 have McComas hosting and narrating, while part 2 contains the operators and collectors do the talking.
