7Idea Productions has hit another home run. As I've posted here before, he has an artist's eye for perspective and composure. Camera angles are exceptional and maximize the enjoyment of this Blue Ray disc. East to Laramie UP Rawlins and Laramie Subs DVD charley mann (Little Mountain SC US) on 2019-09-12 08:48:51.

Just received latest 7th Idea program. Pretty much, as I expected, Great photography and scene selections. Many of this producers programs, are like a National Geographic programs, covering a area of the country, to get an idea, if one would desire to visit location. Motive power consist of mostly GE wide cabs, even though, many trains do have, SD70ace's in the lead. I counted, four trains, with SD70M's, in the lead. These units, seem to be far less, than just, five years ago. If you want to see SD90Macs, SD59MX's or the few SD60M's still left, You will need to travel to Central California, or Illinois, away from the Mainlines out West. A few Heritage units do show up in this program. The shots of Green River, Rawlings and Medicine Bow are Highlights. Overall, a relaxing program East to Laramie UP Rawlins and Laramie Subs DVD Curt Cruthirds (CA) on 2019-10-14 14:30:33.

I have purchased virtually all of 7idea's releases, and I was certainly not disappointed with this one! As always, the clarity and overall videography are superb, and Aaron utilizes excellent angles to really bring out the vastness and desolation of this area, coupled with beautiful vistas and sunsets. He covers the areas in excellent detail, with informative narration. As with all of his releases, I would highly recommend this dvd. I am a big big big Union Pacific fan. I have always wanted to see this territory featured on a video program. This is not inherited UP but pure UP!! Its always great to see the Overland Route in an unfamiliar area. Fantastic coverage. This producer has gotten much territory already but happily there are many many sections of track on the UP (pure or unpure) that have yet to be covered so this viewer is jumping up and down with glee anticipating these programs. Other than Canadian sections of railroad, the UP should keep this producer busy for many years to come. i just watched an hour ago and this was an absolute amazing video that 7idea productions has blown me away east to laramie looks at union pacific's rawlins and laramie subdivisions between green river and laramie wyoming a portion of the up mainline that isn't seen as much as the other famous locations from up the first part of the video starts at green river than heading east for 250 miles first heading for the continental divide to wamsutter than at creston and hadsell than heading for rawlins into the laramie sub for the second half of the program there's lots of interesting things along the line that i liked which sees the jim bridger power plant and the black butte mine which i never thought to see in the wyoming desert over 25 trains a day pass through this line and there's all diffrent types of fright the operate over this line i don't want to try to spoil but a few of the other things i liked seeing was some of up's special intrest diesel locomotives which included up 1995 (the chicago & northwestern heritage unit) up 1989 (the denver and rio grande heritage unit) and up 1943 (the spirt of the union pacific unit on a ocs special) the video also provides a showcases of history of the cowboy state which includes railroad history and other things overall this was an incredible and vary relaxing video that one of the other reviwers said 7idea surprised me buy over two and a half hours of train action you won't want to miss in this amazing video |
