Featuring the Duluth Missabe & Iron Range Railway and the DM&IR's classic high nose SD9's & SD18's diesel models. The historic and fascinating locomotives are seen in both their original and arrowhead paint schemes. The High Hood Diesels are seen leading all trains across northeastern Minnesota's world famous Missabi Iron Range. The DM&IR train action includes: freight, crude ore, taconite pellet and limestone service. Plus a vintage segment on the DM&IR's trains with cabooses including the wide vision, bay window and wood caboose. Footage era 1987 to 1997.
