Archival film footage shows many famous trains that operated dome cars. They include the Empire Builder, Super Chief, North Coast Limited, Daylight, Capitol Limited, Denver Zephyr, City of Los Angeles, Canadian - and perhaps the most famous of all, The California Zephyr.
Rounding out the documentary are interviews with seasoned travelers, plus spectacular images of present day dome cars on a variety of dinner and cruise trains - including the newest "Bi-level" domes used in Alaska and Canada.

Very short video, and hardly worth the price at that. Much of the footage can be be seen in other videos by RK Publishing.

Narration: Just enough.
Would kids enjoy this? I doubt it.
Image quality: A little rough around the edges.
Value: Overpriced.

This video was short, and much of the footage and interviews was recycled from the other RK publishing videos (Daylight, Zephyr, Super Chief). However it is a good documentary on dome cars.
