When Burlington Northern put the new Oakway EMD SD-60 into service, the Joint Line became even more colorful with the bold new blue and white paint scheme. Then came the new gray and red Dash 8 on lease to the Burlington Northern from LMX. Also featured: AT&SF red & yellow Santa Fe units. In Denver, Burlington Northern, D&RGW and AT&SF trains are switched for their spectacular run along the Rockies.

Nice DVD, the 60 min DVD's work as good filler's to show after the two hour or so DVD's then Ive about had it (falling asleep). This is a nice DVD image quality is really good for the vintage it was shot in, narration is nice and keeps you interested in the subject, "But" I have the companion DVD that came out before this one and there's some editing issues with both, basically there's a couple of scene's on the first DVD that start then abruptly stop before there finished then the whole scene reappears on this the second DVD.
But with that said you can't go out and shot this stuff today, where can you see lash up's of brand new Oakway SD60's on a coal train add in all the classic ATSF and BN action and you have a couple of nice DVD's filmed in the late 80's. I recommend getting both of these DVD's there full of fantastic memories.
