This program features the Chicago Elevated system between 1957 and 1969 at locations including Evanston, Wilmette, Howard, The Loop, Garfield Park Line, Lake Street Line, North-South Line, Ravenswood Line, Douglas Park Line, Congress Line, Dearborn Subway and west of Laramie before elevation. The Chicago, South Shore & South Bend and North Shore are also seen. The original film was shot by Gordon Sandstrom and Jack Grasso.
