This is more like an informational DVD than the usual train DVD. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of trains of all kinds in it. I knew Chicago was a busy RR center, but this disc really brought home just how busy. There are freights, AMTRAK, metro, or Metra in Chicago, even the famous Els. Tracks running every direction, under, over, around, like spaghetti. Awesome. I'm glad I bought it and I think any train enthusiast would enjoy it.

Chicago. It was at one time, America's capital city of railroading, but in recent years, it is now one of the capital cities of never ending mass shootings, MS-13 gangs and gun violence, along With Baltimore, Detroit, Denver, San Francisco, Birmingham, New York City, Springfield Mass, and Atlanta. Overall back to trains however, it is an amazing hot spot somewhat, as well as a great variety of Steam and Diesel action, plus some elevated subways are also included. When are we going to make chicago crime free again? When will the happy times return? Will I along with the rest of the innocent railfans be next on the must shot to death list by Mass Shootings & MS-13 Gangs?

Chicago americas railroad capital is another 1 hour video trains magazine made that takes a look at a look at the railroad hub of the united states chicago il (which is where plenty of railroad action is located) most of the action is done by both metra and the L system and some of the big class 1 railroads appear and some regional railroads a look into some towers how the rail line deals with disasters such as a winter snow storm and others i know chicago is known for having train activity but the one thing that makes me think of the windy city is the chicago fire department (mostly from the nbc show chicago fire and the 1991 movie from director Ron Howard backdraft) another video i have that looks at the rail operations in chicago is the today's chicago's railroads video by pentrex (that was made in the early 90s and things have changed since than) this is a insightful look at the operations the windy city has going on today
