The smoke, steam and excitement of mountain railroading in its toughest form come alive as doubleheaded 90 ton Shays tackle the 13% climb up Cheat mountain. We'll take you trackside, in the cab, pace from ahead and ride on top of the tank on an exciting trip to Bald Knob.
We'll also take a ride with Heisler #6 to Durbin, West Virginia, on the Greenbrier Branch, a line that is washed out and will likely never see service again.

This 1980 tape(2005 DVD) features interesting scenes of early preparations, as well as riding onboard one of the specials. After all, This was one of the very first videos that were introduced in a new era of railroad photography. Despite the Debut of Videocassette Cameras.
