From 2013 to 2019, Canadian Pacific began an extensive program to update their fleet of aging EMD 4 and six axel power. In this C. Vision Presentation, we will look at these rebuilds in service on CP trains in Minnesota, all prior to the CP and Kansas City Southern merger. Included are SD40 dash 3's, SD60 dash 3's, GP20C Eco's, SD30C Eco's and SD70ACu's. The vivid red paint of these newly rebuilt locomotives shines bright for our cameras. Some of which display the Golden Beaver logo. We also caught 6 of the 10 ACu's painted in CP's original Tuscan and gray paint scheme. Canadian Pacific painted 5 of the ACu's honoring Canadian and US military forces. We were able to catch a couple of these locomotives, including CP 7020 that wears North Atlantic Treaty Organization green, and 6644, adorned with the camouflage colors that were applied to Royal Canadian Air Force "Spitfire" fighter planes.

cp emd rebuilds looks at the rebuilt locomotives canadian pacific updating their older six axel units from 2013 to 2019 all this was shot prior to the merger with kcs this video includes a variety of motive power as these units haul trains in the twin cities area of minnesota these include sd40-3's, sd60-3's gp20 and sd30c eco's and the highlight of the video the sd70acu's the footage of the sd70acu's include 6 of the 10 heritage units and two of the five military units the 7020 the army unit in nato green and the 6644 the d-day/spitfire unit this is a great look at the motive power cp rebuild with these units my favorite part would be the segments with the heritage and military units they're really sleek looking diesels this is another great program by c vision for anyone who enjoys cp or emd power in general
