You've never seen anything like it! Ancient trams ply the crowded streets of amazing Calcutta, India's largest city. Mixed up with street vendors, rickshaws, insane taxis, demented speeding mini-busses, nerveless pedestrians and the odd sheep and goat, the battered trams continue much as they have for more than one hundred and twenty five years, clanging and clanking through the teeming streets of this incredible city. You'll see rainbow colored trams, porters with huge loads on their heads, street vendors, inquisitive kids and the crowded, bustling streets of old Calcutta. Experience the culture shock, don't miss Calcutta's incredible trams!

Holy cow! I don't think I've ever seen anything like this in my life. Let's put it this way, the India Tourism Board would be horrified! Unbelievably beat up trams running down the streets of Calcutta on track that hasn't seen maintenance in probably decades. For quite awhile, the camera is hanging out the window of a tram as people, cars, taxis, animals weave in and out just inches from the tram. There's a few parts where it's like a thriller movie and you virtually have your breath taken away as someone almost gets pinned by the trams. At least that's the way it appears. The people treat this like a normal day.

You'll also see the dingy streets with sewage running down the curb, and the dilapidated buildings. This isn't just a railfan video and I would highly recommend it.
Additional comments:
Narration: Just enough.
Would kids enjoy this? I doubt it.
Image quality: Excellent!
Value: Fair.
Recommend? Definitely.
