Witness the Burlington Northern Railroad as the trains of the BN travel over 300 miles along the mighty Mississippi River with its majestic bluffs rising high above the river. This DVD captures some of the most beautiful and scenic segments of the entire BN. The show starts in Minneapolis and St. Paul and travels south along the picturesque river communities in Minnesota and Wisconsin to Savanna, IL. The exciting and fast paced action includes yard, local and mainline freights. See the BN as they haul intermodal, general freight, and unit trains of coal, taconite, grain, and autos. As an added feature you'll also see the connecting roads of the: SOO, CP, C&NW, WSOR, CC&P, UP, IC, GB&W, MNNR, TC&W, Canadian National run-thrus and the Milwaukee Road steamer #261 with passenger cars heading north for the Twin Cities. Plus you'll also see a few fascinating steamboats and river barges. The program then ends with a look at the Great Northern inspired paint scheme and trains on the new BNSF.
