Berea Ohio Eclipse Day 2024 DVD
BEREA has been featured in 2004 and 2014 on the "Longest Days" Series. 2024 jumped the gun a bit, as April 8 saw two fewer hours of daylight compared with our normal late June timeframe. But the long anticipated total solar eclipse lured me to again spend a full day at this popular train watching haunt. Mondays are usually slow days. Nevertheless 50 trains are viewed from rainy dawn through more pleasant twilight. Highlight was CSX "threading the needle" as an eastbound autorack stormed through during the four minutes of totality!
