Come along for a look back to when the Burlington Northern and the Santa Fe merged to form the BNSF Railway.

We begin with views of both railroads just before the merger, and then look at the period when the two railroads began to visibly be consolidated into one. As time goes by, locomotives begin to be "patched" with BNSF lettering on their old paint before the new railroad begins to find its own identity.
