Shot between 2001 and 2015, this program features westbound Train #3 from Las Animas, Colorado all the way to Albuquerque, New Mexico. Almost every key location along this route is included in geographical order including LaJunta, the Delhi wig-wag, Wootton's Curve, Raton Pass, Shoemaker Canyon, Tecolate Creek bridge, Glorietta Pass, Apache Canyon, the Spider Bridge, Lamy and the Devil's Throne. Also includes Amtrak's express boxcar, mechanical reefer and Road Railer operations which often swelled the consist of the Southwest Chief to an average of 29 cars a day. A must for any fan of the Southwest Chief and the Raton Pass line.
