Amtrak's shops at Beech Grove, IN, is the destination for all Amtrak equipment in need of repair or major maintenance. The shops were originally for the Big Four and New York Central. Occasionally, unneeded equipment may be put up for sale to the general public. Potential buyers will be allowed on the property for a couple of days to inspect the sale items. They are provided a detailed listing of the equipment, including date of manufacture, original owner RR, mileage and condition. Gary Gurske and his friend availed themselves of the process. It results in a rare opportunity to this massive facility. Running time 1 hour, maps, some narration and natural on-camera commentary. Copy right 2010, A&R Systems, Inc.

I was very disappointed with this DVD, Thought we were going for guided tour inside shops as well as looking at surplus and damaged rolling stock. Would not had purchase DVD if I had seen more information on said program.
