Very satisfying look at the eastern end of the CNJ ( and Reading RR ) while they were still vibrant. Mostly 1st generation diesels, and of every builder there was, and some early 2nd generation units as well. Budd RDCs too. Good mix of passenger and freight, all running through very heavy "railroady" scenery. What I mean is not rural meandering single track through tunnels and mountain passes, but multi-track railroading running through urban/suburban 'scapes with a preponderance of signal bridges, big truss bridges, towers, diamonds and such.

Video quality is unbelievably crisp, a JPM hallmark, I've come to find. Good and accurate dubbed in audio sounds too; especially the Baldwin diesels

Can't wait for the next volume.

This program is mostly urban scenes, that's why l bought it. And was very impressed. Good footage of NY and NJ urban areas. It does not have Mike Bednar narrating, but the narration is still good. If you like NE railroading, early diesels, and urban "trainscapes", you'll like this one.
