Ayer, MA, was a major hub on the Boston & Maine railroad and still is on the Guilford System. The town hosts a classification yard, an intermodal yard, a branch south to Worcester to an interchange with CSX, and an industrial lead. West, tracks lead to New York. East, the main splits at Willows, with tracks swinging southeast to Boston for the MBTA and North to New Hampshire. A tower protected the interlocking. The program shows action in the yard, along the Worcester Branch, east and west bound freights and MBTA commuter action.
