In part 2 of this two-part series, we continue our trek across the Grand Canyon State. Beginning at Williams Junction we explore BNSF's Seligman Subdivision east through Flagstaff while a fast moving snowstorm blows over the Arizona Divide. The weather improves as we follow the Southern Transcon over Canyon Diablo Bridge and through the big sag into Winslow Yard.

The high mountain forests transition into open country accented by the vividly shaded badlands of the Painted Desert as trains head east over the Gallup Sub to the New Mexico border. We will visit locations such as Joseph City, Holbrook, Arntz, Adamana, and Coronado Junction, before reaching the state line beneath the beautiful rock cliffs at Lupton. Intermodal, manifest, grain, and coal trains ply the rails on this busy corridor.

Seeing over seventy trains per day, this is one of the most popular railfan destinations in the west! Join us as we travel "Across Arizona! BNSF's Arizona Mainline Part 2: Williams Junction to Lupton."

This program was shot in April and May of 2014.

Another SUPERB production from 7idea. No one does it better!!!! Folks....if you have an hdtv and no Blu-ray player, go spend 50 bucks for one. Because ANY 7idea Blu-ray is magnificent! The scenery....the narration....the research. ...the videography. You get the idea. ......no 7idea!!!!

Additional remarks by run8anderson:
Narration: Just enough.
Would kids enjoy this? Maybe.
Image quality: Excellent!
DVD Value: Excellent Value!
Recommend to others? A "Must Have"!

Fantastic DVD Aaron and 7 Idea have another set of hit DVD's. This show is great I loved watching it and volume 1 the photography is perfect narration maps and graphics are fantastic and keep the DVD moving at a nice pace keeping it interesting. Everything is here from stack and intermodial trains to manifest freights and unit coal trains. Trains are seen in every type of scenery and weather for unforgiving deserts to snow storms around Williams Jct and the Flagstaff area. These are definitely a "Must Have" set of DVDs. A+++++

This video is a continuation of the "Part 1" video, but don't need the first one to enjoy this video. Unless some of Aaron's other videos, this was filmed in several months instead of several seasons. But that is a plus. The scenes filmed during the April snowstorm were fantastic; he filmed some of the best scenes of the video in that storm. The video also has that great "7idea" balance of trains and scenerey. And Aaron showed that Arizona is a beautiful place. Another masterpiece from 7ideaproductions and Aaron Bentson.

As always, thanks for making it, Aaron.
