A Tribute to Wisconsin Central Vol 2 DVD 4 of 5 (2)
In Volume 2, we will cover operations on WC's mainline from Slinger, Wisconsin north to the Fox Valley cities of Neenah and Oshkosh. Before closing, we will also take a look at a few of their operations around the Stevens Point area and will view some moves in the northern Wisconsin town of Ladysmith. In this production, viewers can look forward to more fast-paced sequences of WC trains in a variety of paint schemes, from ex-ATSF and ex-BN SD45's to the emergence of maroon and gold painted SD45's, WC-painted cowl units and run-through power from CN's haulage rights trains. Pooled power from a variety of roads can also be found, along with the appearance of CN's executive train and even some vintage footage of the Fox River Valley Railroad, prior to their takeover by the WC. We will spend a good amount of time on famed Byron Hill, where WC's southbound trains fight the hill in a battle for the summit. Head-end and rear-end helper units are even featured on some moves. Fast freights, passenger extras, local switchers and even yard moves can all be found on A Tribute to the Wisconsin Central, Volume 2! 107 Minutes, narration on-off feature Copyright 2010, C.
