The SP lives! At least in the hearts of it's fans, and here on DVD! SP power in action on Tennessee Pass in the winter before it closed, over the grades of Cajon Pass and Soldier Summit, and a GE powered local in Rosenberg, Texas. Power is AC44's, SD70M's, SD40-2's, SD45's, C40-8W's and SD40T-2 & SD45T-2 "tunnel motors". We've combed our files for the best of SP for this first program.

Southern Pacific was one of "the greats". I think that this video is an excellent tribute to it. The write up on the internet page states that Highball has "combined their files for the best of the SP". Some people may be displeased when thinking that it is just the producer working to take a number of videos and condense them into one. Personally.... it is a great idea. This video is "a salute", which is honouring the best. Excellent production of one of the great fallen flags.
