This program will take you on a trackside tour of New Jersey Transit's Newark City Subway Line which runs 4.3 miles from Penn Station to Franklin Avenue. The first three stops are underground and the rest are above ground. The line was first opened in 1935 and operates with an all PCC car fleet which are being replaced in 2000.
