Starts off with some vintage footage which is descent but not excellent quality. A lot of runbys. Next segment is excellent quality with good content. Last segment is excellent quality and content. Wished there was more vintage 1950s footage of the Berkshires to view. It is mostly more modern excursion and freight service with 759 and 765. A good buy

Originally made in 1985, this program features 4 segments. First we see some regular action in the 50s which features not only the Berkshires on freight, but also some Hudsons as well. Which includes a segment where a Berkshire switches cars while having some slipping issues. Next we enjoy 2 trips with 759: one being a 1971 trip from Elizabeth New Jersey to Jim Thorpe Pennsylvania (later the headquarters of the Lehigh gorge scenic railway that was owned by the reading & northern) which includes taking a spin at the turntable for the preparation of the return trip, the other being an October 1970 journey to Cumberland via Hagerstown with helicopter angles. 759 is still on display at the steam town national historic site in Scranton Pennsylvania. Finally we see 765 on its freight runs when operating for the Toledo pieoria & western in 1980 which includes a couple of scenes where the locomotive is pushing on the rear with 2 bay window cabooses in between. Besides Sunday river, other future famous producers like Rich Melvin of hopewell productions & the Scholl brothers Greg & Randy were also there for this rare inaugural run of this Lima Ohio built Berkshire that were likely to be never repeated again.
