This new program is the logical follow-up to our very popular San Francisco Trolley's Vol. 1 double-set released in 2001. This video features 25 operating historic cars, including such favorites as the No. 1 Holman 1912 car, No. 130 "Iron Monster", No. 228 "boat car" from Blackpool, the No. 496 Melbourne car, the No. 952 New Orleans car, and the No. 1811 Milan Tram, beautifully re-painted into the original yellow and white livery. Additionally, all currently operating PCC cars are shown in the program, as well as one wrecked PPC car in storage. We ride down the Embarcadero in No. 952, and also ride a charter trip on-board car No. 1015 over the K-Ingleside, L-Taraval, M-Ocean View lines and portions of the J-Church line, and take a fast ride through the Sunset Tunnel on the N-Judah line. A bonus section features scenes taken in Melbourne, Australia in 1990 of the old trams running on Swainston Street. The program is digitally recorded and mastered, with Hi-Fi stereo |
