Review of Highballin to High Hill NS St Louis District 1995-2000 DVD

This is the story of two late-afternoon/early-evening Westbound trains, #112 and #224 as they traverse the moderately busy, seldom seen NS St. Louis District. Besides run-by's at several locations, we take you "Along-side the Thunder" as they race toward the sunset, over the roller-coaster like terrain of Eastern Missouri.

This is rural railroading at it's best! Watch several trains powered by SD60's and other high-horsepower diesels as they scream Westward, hauling heavy tonnage, making their connections in Kansas City with the BNSF and other railroads. The NS of the late 1990's was far more than just Dash-9 widecabs. Enjoy a variety of diesels from both EMD and GE including: 5D40-2s, SD60s, SD70s, GP38-2s, GP60s, C30-7s, and many more. Total Running Time: 1 Hour, 20 Minutes.
