Volume 4 of VIGNETTES OF THE BALTIMORE AND OHIO documents many transitions...steam to diesel, 1950s to 1960s, first generation diesels to second generation, B&O to B&O/C&O. EM-1s and Big 6s, are seen working with FAs, E-and F- units, Fs and early Geeps working with GP30s and GP35s, and Chesapeake and Ohio units mixing in after the 1964 consolidation. Photographer William P Price filmed the passenger and freight action at many locations on the West End from Cumberland to Grafton, and over Sand Patch to Meyersdale from 1955 to 1965. 52 minutes, color with sound and narration, DVD-R format. |
