This program chronicles Big Boy #4014 during a portion of the 'Great Race Across the Southwest' in October of 2019. Our coverage starts on 10/8 as #4014 steamed south from Las Vegas, NV and entered California for first time since being restored to operation. We'll follow #4014 over Cima Hill and Cajon Pass, then chase the fundraising excursions for the RailGiants Museum on 10/12 and 10/13. Finally, we'll follow the Big Boy east on the 'Sunset Route' through southern California, Arizona and New Mexico, before ending our coverage in El Paso, TX on 10/20.
In addition to the standard widescreen DVD, this program is also available on HD Blu-ray disc.
