Wolsztyn became Europe's last center for standard gauge scheduled steam in 1994. This remained the case for the depot's centennial year of 2007. View the ceremony involving 16 steamers, including guests from surrounding countries. Then go for a "driving course" aboard two daily regular service passenger trains to Poznan, plus one to Leszno. "Beautiful Helen" Pm36 Pacific is joined by Ok22 4-6-0, 0149 2.6-2, PT47 2.8-2 on freight, Tkt 2.8-2, and Px48 on the narrow gauge (750mm). Plenty of lineside as well as in cab scenes are presented. Learn how the "Wolsztyn Experience" was founded in 1997, allowing some two thousand guests the chance to operate locomotives on scheduled runs up to 60 MPH! Also presented here are steam views back in 1989 at various locations, and modern day electrics, diesels, and city trams. We conclude on 07.07-07 as "Beautiful Helen" throws plumes of fireworks toward the glass canopy of Wroclaw Station!
