Review of Canadas Showcase - Ride the Canadian Pacific Route DVD

Frozen Lake Superior... Cab views of Kicking Horse Pass and Spiral Tunnels.. A Winter Wonderland!!! Journey west from Toronto over New Year's 1990, just two weeks before the "Canadian" was re-routed off the Canadian Pacific. The final minutes show the last run to Vancouver. The first portion highlights journeys from the 1960s, 70s, and 80s, showing the changes over the decades. Our companion video "Silver & Blue" takes you on a 1994 trip over the CN route through Jasper.

In your opinion, how was the narration level?	There was no narration. Just enough. Could have used more. A little too much. Way too much. Narration can be turned off.
Aside from the content of the DVD, how would you rate the image quality (sharpness, camera steadiness, etc)?	Poor. A little rough around the edges. Good. Excellent!
How would you rate the VALUE of this video?	Overpriced for the amount of enjoyment I got out of it. Seemed a little high, but not too bad. Fair. Good value. Excellent value!
Last question. Would you recommend this DVD to others?	Definitely not! Not unless they REALLY were interested in the subject matter. Yes Definitely. A "Must Have"!
