"50 More Cab Rides" has been produced in response to enthusiastic response to the previous "101". While E-units, Alco Centuries, and other tried and true favorites encountered last time make an encore appearance, the goal was to include as many different types of power as possible, such as a Baldwin RS and many more.
Some links to the first volume include the "Cardinal" P42 - this time at night, westbound -and the famous French TGV, making one of her earlier test runs. There is even a "reunion", 22 years later, with engineer and switch engine!
Some of these segments had been considered for the first volume; most are presented due to the generosity of many. Typically, these were filmed in the 1990s before "zero tolerance" cab ride policies came into effect - or in countries where riding - even driving - locos remained possible.
