This program begins with the New York Central produced movie "THE NEW GATEWAY" describing in detail the operations of the Pittsburgh & Lake Erie Railroad Company which was a subsidiary of the New York Central. The balance of the program features never before published vintage footage in both black & white and color of the New York Central, the New Haven Railroad and the Erie Railroad which include early fan trips by Railroad Enthusiasts of New York.
