Review of Vintage Eastern Rails 1960s DVD

This program features the final years of many Northeastern railroads operating in New Jersey and Pennsylvania including the Erie, Lackawanna, Reading, Jersey Central and Delaware & Hudson. The original film was supplied by Dale Richard. Scenes include CNJ ferry service between New York City and Jersey City and Bayonne, NJ. Highlights of fan trips include a trip over the CNJ from Elizabeth to Bethlehem and another trip from Philadelphia to Hershey using the Reading Co T-1 2102. Next is a diesel powered ramble over the B&O from NJ to Wash. D.C. The program ends with numerous scenes on the D&H in New Jersey and New York.
