Thinking of Amtrak as America's Rail Trek, it has now lived long (half a century), but has it prospered? Every employee and passenger has their own take, and here we present evidence for you, the viewer, to decide! Noted here are new and refurbished stations, new trains and locomotives - and many lingering issues such as delays and only marginal growth. As travel rebounds from the pandemic, frequent and dependable Amtrak trains are needed on the national network and along routes not currently serviced. |
