Review of Russian Steam in Ukraine DVD

Machines of Iron revisits Ukraine in the fall of 1996 when the countryside is resplendent in autumn colors and the air is filled with locomotive steam and smoke. A special steam excursion is the reason for our visit, and we travel aboard a comfortable passenger train behind several different Russian locomotives including a 0-10-0, doubleheaded 4-6-4s, and the most modern Russian steam locomotive, the P-36. Enjoy lots of color and culture, as we travel to this country rich in history. Our trip includes sightseeing trips to Kiev and Moscow.
