Review of Reading Blue Mountain and Northern Volume 3 DVD

In volume 3 of the Reading Blue Mountain and Northern, we pick up where we left off in volume 1 with freight and passenger operations from September to November of 1991.

We'll begin on the turn job at Tamaqua and head to St Nick Yard in Mahanoy City. From there we'll visit various locations along the mainline including a ramble to Schuylkill Haven and steam freights with the 2102.

We'll finish this volume riding the Reading turn job from North Reading to Cressona and return

As seen previously, trackage in some places was still at 10 miles per hour, but continually improving.

Digitized from the videotapes of the Ed Heck and Joe Bednar Collection

Narrated with commentary by Mike Bednar

Color and sound; approximately 68 minutes runtime
