Review of Northwestern Pacific Vol 1 on DVD by Machines of Iron

The Northwestern Pacific has served as an important rail link in Northern California since 1907. After a brief absence during which the California Northern ran on the line from Willits to Schellville, the Northwestern Pacific made a comeback in 1996. Join us for the celebration festivities which included a three-day excursion in June 1996 and follow freight movements north and south over the line. Volume 1 explores the southern portion of the line, where trains traverse steep grades and glide through pastoral landscapes.
